Ramadan Karting Challenge

Ramadan Karting Challenge is a new karting series created and organized by the local karting Champion, Hamza Dirani. It started in 2007 and it was a great success. Since then, it became an annual championship and the most competitive.

Ramadan Challenge is a series of three night races that will be held on each Thursday of the month at the Jordan Speed Center circuit. Drivers of all ages are welcomed to participate in the challenge. Drivers will be divided into categories depending on the power of their engines as the following:

Juniors Class
Age : Up to 12 years old
Engines : Up to 12 hp

Seniors Class
Age : 13 – up
Engines : Rotax MAX, Vortex ROK, FA/ICA

Round 1               : 11 August
Round 2               : 18 August
Round 3               : 25 August

All events will start at 10:00 pm at the Jordan Speed Center Circuit.

Media Coverage:

Ramadan challenges of the past years were highly coved by the local papers, magazines and TV. The Ramadan Challenge is the only karting night-race series in the region and always has a huge number of participants and spectators. For the 2011 challenge, we are working on have a greater exposure by having media partners for the events.
